On Saturday, 8 August 2026, the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) conducted a specialized training program for Reinsurance Brokerage Solutions (RBS) Board Members and Senior Management at the Lake Kivu Serena Hotel in Rubavu. The training focused on the legal and regulatory framework for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT), including relevant policies, compliance obligations, governance responsibilities, and measures for identifying and mitigating financial crime risks. The program provided an important opportunity to strengthen leadership awareness and reinforce sound compliance and risk management practices within the organization.
