Jean d’Amour Sindayigaya has served as Chief Technical Officer at RBS since 31 January 2023.

In previous roles, he worked as an accountant at Sonarwa General Insurance Company for 2 years, followed by 5 years as a Reinsurance Officer at the same company. He also served as Deputy Chief Accountant at Prime Insurance Ltd (formerly COGEAR) for 2 years, and later as Reinsurance Manager at Prime Insurance Ltd for 10 years.

Jean d’Amour holds an international Bachelor Certificate in Accounts issued by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) based in the UK, and has various reinsurance training certificates from accredited reinsurance entities.

He brings extensive experience and a rich network within local, regional, and global reinsurance markets.
